know your audience /customers

It's important to keep in mind who are you working for, when you brainstorm for a treatment, work on a project and even when you update your portfolio.

who is your audience?

what is your target?
who are your customers? what do they like?
what are their problems?

Have always a "custumer persona" in mind whenever you are writing a post on social medias or even having a meeting.



For a pitch/interview:
know who you're meeting, to whom you're talking.

Get informed in advance, do a little research on Google before a meeting, ask around, find out who is in the jury, etc...

Those are good tips for for pitches, individual meetings, interviews (know the company, their work..), and even just for writing e-mails.
